Using PrizeGauge
These terms apply to your use of PrizeGauge at prizegauge.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
PrizeGauge provides independent lottery information and statistical comparisons. It does not sell tickets, operate a lottery, manage prize claims, or provide personalized financial or gambling advice.

Eligibility and responsible use
The service is intended for adults. Any purchase or participation in a lottery must comply with the legal age, location, eligibility, and other requirements established by the relevant lottery and applicable law.
Lottery games involve financial risk. Spend only what you can afford to lose. A ranking, estimated return, or chance-of-prize figure is information for comparison, not a recommendation to buy a ticket or a promise of profit.

What the numbers mean
PrizeGauge distinguishes official source information, calculations based on published data, and modeled estimates. Source reports can be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or published at different times. Prize availability may change before it appears in the next dataset.
Expected value is a statistical average under stated assumptions. It is not the amount an individual ticket will pay. Winning any prize may still mean receiving less than the ticket price. Inventory estimates, rankings, and historical comparisons depend on the available data and the published method.
Missing information does not mean zero. Any explicitly labeled sample data is illustrative and is not verified lottery information. See our methodology for further detail.

Official rules take priority
Verify game rules, ticket prices, prize amounts, sales availability, and claim deadlines with the relevant official lottery source before acting. PrizeGauge does not determine whether a ticket is valid, whether a prize can be claimed, or whether a retailer has tickets available.
PrizeGauge is not affiliated with or endorsed by New York State, the New York Lottery, or the New York State Gaming Commission. Names and marks identifying games and official sources belong to their respective owners.

Acceptable use
You may browse, link to, and use the information for lawful personal research and comparison. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, impersonate the service, or use it for fraud or other unlawful activity.
Automated requests must respect published access controls and rate limits and must not place an unreasonable load on the service. Do not present altered figures as verified PrizeGauge analysis or suggest that PrizeGauge endorses your product.

Content and attribution
PrizeGauge’s original branding, presentation, and written explanations belong to PrizeGauge or their respective rights holders. Publicly available source information remains subject to the rights and conditions of its original providers.
When quoting our analysis, identify PrizeGauge, link to the relevant page, and retain the source date and material limitations. These terms do not grant ownership of third-party reports, game artwork, names, or trademarks, or restrict rights otherwise provided by law.

Availability and changes
We may update, correct, remove, or suspend features and datasets, including to address errors, security concerns, or changes in source availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular update frequency, or permanent access to historical observations.
We may limit access that harms availability or violates these terms. Links to external services are provided for reference; those services have their own rules and practices.

Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and its information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
You are responsible for decisions you make using the information, including any ticket purchases. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PrizeGauge is not liable for gambling losses or indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights or other protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Privacy
Our privacy policy explains technical request information, infrastructure providers, cookies, and your choices. Browsing the service does not currently require a PrizeGauge account.

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Your continued use after updated terms take effect is subject to those terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
